Sam turns 4 tomorrow! I'll be working a 24 hour shift at the clinic/hospital, but I was there for his birthday party yesterday (Saturday 5/5/2018) and it was fun. A bunch of other families from the residency program came and and the kids played at "Castle Park". We had a Cafe Rio style potluck with that amazing sweet pork and April made the most incredible chocolate cake ever. Home made everything including the chocolate frosting. I really do love that woman. Also April's parents came into town just for Sammy's birthday party. It was awesome. We always like seeing them.
Sam got some awesome presents too, including a truck you can take apart and put back together ( I think he and Suvi did that like 15 times today) and some Legos. Suvi spent 45 minutes making Lego shoes this afternoon. I didn't have the heart to tell her. After a while we heard screaming coming from downstairs. She had finished her Lego shoes and tried walking in them. She then discovered how painful Legos are to step on. Live and learn.
